Celebrate the divine occasion of Mokshada Ekadashi, the sacred day when Lord Krishna revealed the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. This day is also observed as Gita Jayanti, symbolizing enlightenment, liberation, and spiritual awakening.
Performing daan, donation and seva on Mokshada Ekadashi brings extraordinary spiritual merit and blessings of Lord Vishnu.
Mokshada Ekadashi falls in the Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month and is one of the most spiritually rewarding Ekadashis. As the name suggests, “Mokshada” means the giver of moksha (liberation). Fasting, puja, annadaan, gau-seva, and charity on this day purify the soul and destroy accumulated karmic burdens.
Scriptures proclaim that daan on Mokshada Ekadashi equals the merit of 1,000 Ashwamedha Yajnas. Charity given on this day becomes a powerful source of punya and helps in attaining moksha.
