Rath Yatra is the celebration of Shree Jagannatha's journey to his aunt's house in a grand procession, accompanied by his brother Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra on enormous chariots. For the following nine days, the deities reside in the Gundicha temple and return to Shree Mandir on the 10th day, known as Bahuda Yatra. This is the only occasion in the year when Shree Jagannatha emerges from the temple to grant darshan to all his devotees, regardless of caste, religion, or creed. As a result, millions of pilgrims flock to Puri for the darshan of Shree Jagannatha during this festival.
