On 6th May 2022, a sacred Shrimad Bhagavat Katha Mahotsav was organized at Shri Ram Temple, Kamarpal, Odisha, by Suma Blessings Foundation in loving memory of Late Smt. Sumitra Jena on her first death anniversary. The spiritual gathering brought together devotees from nearby villages and surrounding regions to seek divine blessings and immerse themselves in devotional celebrations.
The event commenced with a grand welcome for Pujya Shri Pramod Prusty Ji, who was warmly received by the temple committee and devotees upon his arrival at the temple premises. Following the traditional reception, various Vedic rituals and pujas were performed to invoke the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, Lord Krishna, and Lord Jagannath.
Pujya Shri Pramod Prusty Ji then began the divine narration of the Shrimad Bhagavat Katha in the Odia language. Through his inspiring discourse, devotees were enlightened with the sacred teachings and divine pastimes of Lord Shri Krishna, the glory of Lord Jagannath, and the significance of the Kalki Avatar as described in Hindu scriptures.
The spiritual atmosphere was further enriched by the celebration of Asthaprahari Nama Sankirtan, devotional bhajans, and religious ceremonies that filled the temple with devotion, faith, and divine energy. The event also featured a sacred Kalash Sthapana Ceremony, symbolizing purity, prosperity, and the invocation of divine blessings.
A grand religious procession was taken out through the locality, drawing enthusiastic participation from devotees of all ages. The procession, accompanied by devotional chanting and traditional rituals, created a vibrant and spiritually uplifting atmosphere throughout the region.
Hundreds of devotees attended the event and received spiritual inspiration through the sacred katha and devotional activities. The temple committee expressed gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and devotees whose support contributed to the successful organization of this memorable religious event.
